finding the beaveree

The Beaveree 2009 will be held at Cottenham Village College, which is located in the village of Cottenham, 5 miles north of Cambridge along the B1049. The full postal address is:

from Peterborough & the west
If you are travelling to the Beaveree from Peterborough or the west of the county, our advice is to use the A1(M) to the A14 eastbound. Follow the A14 to junction 30 (Oakington/Dry Drayton turn-off). Head north-east, driving through Oakington and Westwick into Cottenham. Turn 'right' into Rampton Road at the 'T' junction and follow it along to the end. Turn 'left' at the mini roundabout, passing the village green (on the left) and the the College should be sign-posted on the right.

from Ely & the north
If you are travelling to the Beaveree from Ely or the north of the county, our advice is to use the southbound A10 or A141 until you reach the A142. Follow the A142 until the junction with the A1421 and head south towards Haddenham. Once in Haddenham, head east along the A1123 towards Wilburton and Stretham. The turn-off for the B1049 is in the centre of Wilburton...take it, and head straight for Cottenham. Follow the road and you will come across the triangular village green (on the right) with the College sign-posted on the left.

from Newmarket & the east
If you are travelling to the Beaveree from Newmarket or the east of the county, our advice is to use the A14 heading westbound to junction 32 (Histon/Impington turn-off outside Cambridge). Follow the B1049 north through Histon and Impington, heading for Cottenham. Continue on this road all the way to Cottenham High Street, going straight at the mini-roundabout and you will eventually pass the triangular village green (on the left). The College will be sign-posted on the right

from Cambridge & the south
If you are travelling to the Beaveree from Cambridge or the south of the county, our advice is to use the M11 northbound, joining the eastbound A14 to Newmarket at junction 14/31. Head east to junction 32, the Histon/Impington turn-off (If in Cambridge, head north along Histon Road to join junction 32). Take the B1049 and follow it through Histon and Impington, heading towards Cottenham. Continue along this road all the way to Cottenham High Street, going straight at the mini-roundabout and you will eventually pass the triangular village green (on the left). The College will be sign-posted on the right.
