about the beaveree

what is the beaveree?
The Beaveree is Cambridgeshire's biggest Beaver Scouting event and takes place once every two years. It is open to 800 Beaver Scouts across the county, bringing them together for a day packed with activities based around a central theme. In 2009, this theme is 'Keeping it real'.

what is it about?
The Beaveree is about bringing lots of young people together so they can share in a common experience of meeting new people, making new friends, trying something different and, above all, having FUN! In 2009, we're offering a chance for the beavers to experience a wide range of activities, from street dancing to science experiments.

event details

how much does it cost?

who can attend?
The Beaveree is open to all Beaver Scouts and Scouting CRB checked adults in Cambridgeshire. Though this event is for the Beaver Section, leaders from the Cubs, Scouts, Explorer sections and the Fellowship are also welcome to attend.

When it comes to supervising the Beavers, it doesn't necessarily have to be the Beaver Scout Leader who attends. In the event that the Beaver Scout Leader is unable to go, it will be acceptable for an assistant leader, colony helper, CRB checked parent or another section leader to take a group of beavers along...providing the beavers know who that person is.
